[2023/09/20 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's a box room with crates of leather, sacks of various vegtables and some vaguely agricultural implements made of old rotten wood and a closet of motheaten clothes...

[2023/09/20 16:15] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Alright, Dhalia. What's this something?" She is meanwhile collecting the various books they recovered, preparing to read them but not yet opening the things.
[2023/09/20 16:15] Alicia Frakture: Leesha motions for them to join her in that room ready to listen as she sits on a crate
[2023/09/20 16:19] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me followed into the room and found a spot to sit on the floor and begin unpacking the many things she had collected, at the same time speaking, "something happened while i was sitting alone. I was awake and fine and then suddenly not sure what state I was in, and some scary looking figure kept saying 'bring it back!' and then suddenly it was gone", she seemed to do her best not to show just how frightened she was by continuing to arrange the items from her bags on the floor before her to share with Debben and Leesha

[2023/09/20 16:25] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Working theory is that 'big magic user' the goblins were fretting about." She then looks over the ... two? or more books they recovered from the tower, starting with the one that wasn't just an anatomy textbook.

[2023/09/20 16:27] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "This bee seems so strange. Why keep it?" she waggles her finger at the bee to see if it reacts to her motion.

[2023/09/20 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's a much more ornate and fancy book.
[2023/09/20 16:29] Alicia Frakture: Yeah not my spee, but if one of you wants to look at it, and why do I have a feeling we might need to go back to the tower?

[2023/09/20 16:30] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "That book seems like it's going to be an important one," she holds her hands out to inspect the covers then starts skimming through it.

[2023/09/20 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: This book has magic spells in it - and a rather interesting mental ritual, which promises to be rather helpful to you.
[2023/09/20 16:33] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shrugs and begins cleaning her wrench, bound to be some gunk in there from before
[2023/09/20 16:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: (when you rest, after reading the ritual, roll a d20. You can keep that roll to use in place of ANY d20 roll the next day.)

[2023/09/20 16:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Hmm.... some greyish coarse dust... a few scraps and strips of flesh... skin... it... looks kinda familiar... kinda... human...
[2023/09/20 16:43] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben, once she's given a good read through of the book, looks at the glass jar with swirling red, picking it up and rotating it in her hand to see how the swirling responds.
[2023/09/20 16:43] Alicia Frakture: Okay, no I have had more than enough of human body parts

[2023/09/20 16:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: the liquid seems to follow the swirl... it almost seems alive in some way, but, you're sure it's not actually alive. Hopefully it isn't, anyway.
[2023/09/20 16:45] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "This isn't like, a liter of reanimated blood or something, is it?"
[2023/09/20 16:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: What a ghastly thought... if only there was some way to answer that for sure...

[2023/09/20 16:47] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at the swirling and the red. If it is blood there is something mixed with it, might be some weird potion

[2023/09/20 16:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: It'd be an odd place to keep a potion, the glass orb is sealed, complete, fairly thick... it's not designed to open, or be easy to break

[2023/09/20 17:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: I think on that note I shall turn in, I do got work tomorrow, and you might want to mull on the uses of a stone of harming and healling
